Achieving Five-Star Results with State-of-the-Art Technology

Our office has paved the way for providing high-quality dentistry by utilizing the latest technology available to us since the first day we opened our doors. Dr. Van de Vyver, Dr. Leppek, and the rest of our team ensure comfort, precision, and efficiency at each treatment and visit by utilizing the best of the best. From our 3D printer to our MODJAW motion capture technology and Overjet AI, we want to make sure that no stone goes left unturned when it comes to diagnosing and treating dental problems that ail you. You can learn more about our cutting-edge dental technology below!

CT/Cone Beam Scanner

We employ our i-CAT cone beam scanner to take highly detailed, 3D images of your teeth, jaw, and surrounding facial anatomy to gain a better understanding of the overall function of your mouth. Unlike traditional X-rays, our cone beam CT scanner creates a comprehensive, detailed outline of your facial anatomy in one 360-degree view, allowing our dentists to see your jawbone density, facial nerves, and even the location of your sinuses. This is ideal for planning more complex treatments or diagnosing complicated issues.

Photogrammetry with iMetric iCAM 4D

Photogrammetry is a process that utilizes photography and computer science to create an incredibly detailed and accurate 3D model of your mouth using digital images. This allows us to provide you with incredibly detailed dental solutions. To do this, we use our iMetric iCAM 3D system, which uses a camera-like device to scan the inside of your mouth in real time to create the model. It’s quick, simple, and helps reduce the amount of time you spend in the treatment chair!

3D Printer

Our 3D printer drastically minimizes the amount of time you wait for dental appliances that would usually be sent to a dental laboratory to be made, like an occlusal splint and nightguard, by allowing us to craft them in-house. After taking a scan of your mouth, we can design an oral appliance using CAD/CAM software and transfer the design to be fabricated by our 3D printer in a single visit. The result is a device that has been custom-crafted just for you.

Digital Impressions

Taking dental impressions used to involve placing gag-inducing putty in your mouth, which was an imperfect process that would sometimes need to be done multiple times. Fortunately, using our Medit digital impression system, this process is much more comfortable, faster, and easier. Using a wand-like device with a camera at the tip of it, our team can create a 3D, photorealistic digital impression that can be immediately used to craft an in-house oral appliance or sent to a dental laboratory.

InstaRisa Facial Scanner

Treatment planning has never been easier than with our InstaRisa facial scanner. This device creates 3D images of your facial and oral structures, as well as captures your bite, for a faster and more comfortable way of planning dental implant surgeries, and even TMJ treatment. This technology ensures that your final results not only look completely natural, but feel and function like natural as well! It also allows us to show you a preview of your final results before we’ve even begun treatment.

MODJAW 4D Motion Capture

TMJ disorder can be one of the most complex dental problems to treat for patients, as it can result in consequential dental concerns and chronic pain and inflammation of the muscles surrounding the jaw joints. Our MODJAW 4D motion capture system allows us to get data on your real-time jaw movement and bite, which will help us analyze your oral function. This dynamic motion capture technology can then allow us to recommend the most effective treatments to ease your discomfort by addressing your symptoms.

Soft Tissue Laser

Our AMD Picasso diode laser is able to take minor surgical procedures and make them less invasive. Instead of using a scalpel and sutures, the laser emits a concentrated beam of light that vaporizes damaged soft tissues, kills bacteria, and cauterizes the area while it works. As a result, patients are able to enjoy shorter recovery times, more comfortable procedures, and minimal post-operative symptoms like swelling and bleeding.

Digital Cavity Detection System

Overjet AI is one of the newest pieces of dental technology to hit the market. It acts to close the gap of human oversight by comparing your X-rays against hundreds of thousands, even millions, of other patients’ X-rays to help diagnose areas of concern, like decay. It’s also a great tool to educate our patients with, since we can show you the visual extent of any present cavities and explain why treatment is necessary. In the end, this second set of eyes allows us to keep the small issues from turning into more serious concerns down the road.

Intraoral Cameras

Intraoral cameras are small, high-resolution lenses that our team uses to capture detailed images of hard-to-see areas of the mouth during examinations. With the ability to capture still images as well as quality live video footage acting as a visual resource for patient education, we can show you why we’re recommending certain treatments and better answer any questions you may have concerning diagnoses.
